Release form, composition and pharmacological action
This drug is available in film-coated tablets. The tablets have a round shape, they are convex on both sides and with the inscription "KV / 2". As part of a dragee is:
- 75 mcg of desogestrel as an active ingredient;

- after injections - on the day of the next injection.
In any case, after these three contraceptives and during the transition to Charozetta, additional protection is recommended using condoms or other contraceptives. If an abortion was performed in the first trimester, take the drug right away.
In that case, if for some reason the next admission was missed (a break is considered if there were more than 36 hours between taking the pills), then contraceptive efficacy decreases and the drug should be used according to a special scenario:
- if the next pill was drunk in less than 12 hours, you should drink the next one as soon as an error was detected, and then switch to the usual regimen of medication;
- if the drug is delayed for more than 12 hours, the first named scenario should be followed - the tablet immediately after the detection of the error and further according to the usual schedule. But during intercourse, additional contraception should be used to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
When the drug was missed immediately in the first week of use, and at that time there was unprotected sexual intercourse, then a version with a possible pregnancy should be considered.
