How to do gymnastics for the eyes at home

In our computer age, our eyes are under tremendous strain. The evolution of the development of the eye device has not yet reached a level that can independently overcome the harm done by electronic gadgets.

Symptoms of tired eyes, reduced vision and much more threaten if you do not give the eye muscles rest and relaxation. But, of course, there is a situation that it is impossible to move away from the computer: the session on the nose or the working day has just begun, and the work is still above the roof, as they say.

There is a way out - periodically do exercises for the eyes. She comes in various forms.

Gymnastics for the eyes of fatigue

The most popular and necessary gymnastics complex for eye strain. It consists of the following exercises that need to be performed 4-6 times.

  1. We must look into the distance and fix it in this position, while trying not to look specifically at something. Now lift a finger away from yourself and look at it. And so alternately look at the distance, then on the finger.
  2. Now this finger is slowly brought to the tip of the nose and all the while watching him. And then return it back, at arm's length.
  3. Draw a look in space in front of a figure of eight, first clockwise and then against.
  4. While in the room, look first into the lower left corner, then into the lower right corner, and so on in turn at all angles.
  5. Start focusing on things at different distances. For example, on the handle lying on the table and right there on the seagull outside the window.
  6. Squeeze the temples with your fingers and start blinking quickly.
  7. Move the eyeballs with closed eyelids.

To carry out such a complex is always worth it if a lot of time is spent on a computer or reading. And especially if there was a feeling of sand in the eyes and redness.

Gymnastics to improve vision

If you do the next set regularly, then there is a chance to improve the already damaged eyesight.

You should not, of course, wait for miracles that the vision with "-7" will sharply become one hundred percent, but it is quite realistic to raise it to the diopter, and even a little more.

As in ordinary gymnastics, before exercise you need to warm up: quickly blink and massage the eyeballs through closed eyelids. Relax your neck, think about something pleasant and only then begin. All exercises repeat at least 5 times.

  1. To make circular movements with the eyes, first clockwise and then against.
  2. Try to draw with pupils in the air symbols and letters. You can try to put in the air in this way the whole sentence.
  3. At a distance of 50 cm from myself to take a note of some kind. For example, a vase or a window handle. And start looking at distant objects for half a minute. And at one moment to sharply translate the view on this label.
  4. Purposely mow the eyes to the nose. For better focusing, you can use a finger raised to the nose. Try to see it as clearly as possible and then take your finger and drive it near the face either to the left or to the right. All this time, focus on the finger.
  5. Bring to the eyes spread fingers and try to focus simultaneously on all fingers.
  6. Raise your eyebrows high. Pay attention to what muscle stiffened behind the ears. It is this muscle that needs to be trained in this exercise so that it can be strained without raising the eyebrows.

Gymnastics for the eyes by Norbekov

Norbekov himself has no medical education and his wife, Larisa Fotina, helped him compile the exercises. Their tandem in 2001 resulted in writing a book describing this technique and promising to get rid of glasses forever.

A significant role in improving eye health by this method is assigned to the psychological state of a person. We must perceive ourselves as a person already with excellent eyesight, without pathologies.

For a complete picture of the technique, you must, of course, read the book by Fotina, but the main point is in these exercises.

  1. Look up to the highest possible level by trying to see your forehead. Do the same thing by looking down, mentally believing that you can really see your throat.
  2. Looking sideways, trying to see the ear. First left and then right
  3. Starting at the bottom left corner try to draw a butterfly look. First, make a clockwise motion, and then against.
  4. Draw a glance an inverted figure-eight about the size of a face.
  5. Try to make out your nose and objects on the side, but without turning your head to the side.
  6. Bring both index fingers to eyes, after concentrating on them, separate them in different directions. Try to keep track of your left eye for your left finger, and your right eye for your right finger.
  7. Present in front of the clock. And starting from number 1 concentrate on each number. Turn the circle clockwise, and then against.

All these exercises should be done in a relaxed state, with a positive attitude. Make your eyes move smoothly, repeat each exercise at least 8 times.

The most convenient way is to print out these exercises, shown schematically in the form of arrows, and hang this printout above the desktop.

Tibetan eye exercises

The medicine of Tibet promises to cure a lot of diseases, including partial loss of vision. The wisdom of Tibet is based on unity with nature and its elements. And organs of sight relate to the elements of trees. Here is an exercise for the eyes, which are attributed to Tibetan practices:

  1. To keep track of divorced fingers in different directions, up to the maximum possible limit. When it is already impossible to see two fingers at the same time bring them together and start an exercise again.
  2. Now you need to translate the view on the subject, located at the other end of the room. And again on the fingers.
  3. Close your eyes and gently press on the eyelids with your fingertips.
  4. Strongly squeeze the eyelids for 5 seconds, and then strongly open the eyelids for 5 seconds.
  5. Rotate the eyes clockwise and in the opposite direction.
  6. Frequent light blinking.
  7. Stroke closed eyelids.

Another exercise is to look at the candle until tears flow, as tears remove toxins. Men should not look at the candle, but at the glass ball. After the tears flowed, close your eyes sharply and sit until your eyes calm down.

As well as a Tibetan figure remained on a black background, which should be printed out and outlined by her gaze at a distance of about 15 cm. To do this, you need to remove the device to improve vision (glasses, lenses).

According to them, the color that is beneficial for the eyes is green. This means that constant contemplation of green is good for sight. This is recognized by modern doctors. Ophthalmologists always recommend walking a little more in the forest, surrounded by shades of green.

Gymnastics for the eyes with myopia and hyperopia

Different visual defects are corrected differently. Since the violations are also different.

With myopia, the focus point shifts inside the eyeball and the image appears blurry. This happens either because the eyeball is too elongated, or because the eye system incorrectly refracts optical rays.

To fix this in exercises you need to focus on improving blood circulation in the eyes.

To do this, fit all the exercises in which the eyes rotate, and the eyelids are compressed and unclenched. Focusing on the far and sharply at the close also contributes to this.

With farsightedness, the ideal picture point, on the contrary, goes beyond the limits of the eyeball. And the eye can not cope with the converging rays from too close objects.

Rays from distant objects run in parallel and the complexity of clearly seeing them does not arise. In the case of farsightedness, the eyeball is shorter than necessary. There is a second reason for this ailment: the optical rays are not sufficiently refracted.

This problem is solved by also increasing blood circulation in the eyeball and neck and focusing exercises. In this ailment, all exercises for rotating the eyeball, trying to track several objects at once, as well as tracking moving objects are helpful.

Gymnastics for children

Considering how much visual information a child receives, his eyes need no less gymnastics, or even more than an adult's eyes.

Classes can be started already from 2 years old, especially there is a hereditary predisposition to partial loss of vision.

But it is better not to start before 5 years. Acute vision and possible problems will be clarified by an oculist after examining the fundus of the eye. And if the problem is still detected, it will tell you how to solve it.

Best with young children to do everything in a playful way. For example, draw all the exercises with the help of funny faces and come up with a story for them. So that when the child moves his eyes, he thinks that this is all a fun game. You should never force him to do gymnastics, you should try to catch him in a good mood and involve him in it.

  1. Hang in different corners of the room circles, differing in size. And persuade the child in turn to concentrate on one circle, then on the other. But provided that the head does not move.
  2. Ask for a tight blink several times.
  3. Fixing the head of the baby with his own hands ask him to look up and down.
  4. Draw a snake or a labyrinth on a drawing paper and playfully suggest the child to follow his gaze.
  5. Go to the window and ask: "and what is furthest from us?", And then "and what is closest to us?"

The main thing is to do everything easily and together. Kids value every moment spent with their parents in games, so I will be happy to do these exercises if adults make them interesting.

As you can see, most of the exercises in different techniques echoes. What method to choose for training is not so important, they all really work with regular trainings.

After any of these exercises, you should sit for a while with your eyes closed. When working at a computer, it is recommended to perform one of these complexes in the morning and evening every day. With intensive work with your eyes, you can make such complexes at least every hour.
