Indexation of pensions for working pensioners in 2018: recalculation nuances

Many elderly people refuse to go on vacation and continue to work to improve their financial situation a little. That is why the question of compensation for this category of citizens is so often raised. And this question still retains its relevance.

Law on working pensioners

There is an official document regulating all the features associated with payments to those who continue to work, although age allows you to formalize the departure from the workplace. The main rules of the law are described as follows:

  1. When the pension is issued, the state does not allocate additional funds in connection with the existing experience. Such expenditures of the budget are recognized as ineffective.
  2. Recently formed a new scheme, according to which points are awarded. The state is trying to create as many additional incentives for those who continue to perform their work duties. If you keep your job, pension payments may increase by 85 percent, or even more.
  3. The minimum required experience for calculating a standard pension is now 6 years. But in the near future this figure is planned to increase to 15 years.
  4. Additional allowances in connection with the special status are only those who still come to rest. Otherwise, no rewards are provided.

The state believes that the refusal to increase compensation will help to close the budget deficit.

Do those who continue to work get retired?

The pension system is constantly reviewed for several reasons:

  • price increase;
  • sharp exchange rate adjustments;
  • high inflation;
  • lack of stability in the economy;
  • saving crises.

Now, as before, working pensioners receive two types of payments - compensation from the state together with the standard remuneration for labor. Government payments have a fixed value, currently a component of 3935 rubles. But points and experience can change this amount, including in a big way.

An increase in 2018 is planned to be made for all those who have a salary below 18 thousand rubles. This rule applies to most regions. For such citizens is carried out and recalculation. It is organized after the corresponding application is written. But if in a year a citizen receives from 1 million rubles and more, the state will refuse.

8803 rubles - the size of the minimum pension for modern citizens.

How to pay a pension

After formalization, the procedure for receiving rewards will be as follows:

  1. First, determine the amount that is charged to a person in accordance with the executed documents, the information provided.
  2. Further documents are made regarding the amounts that were accrued to the citizen for a certain period.
  3. Transfer of compensation to the account of the organization responsible for the transfer of funds.
  4. The direction of documents to those involved in state aid.
  5. The last stage - the delivery of funds to the citizen.

There are several options for obtaining money:

  • payment through the cashier of the company engaged in delivery;
  • transfer of funds at home;
  • crediting to a bank or financial institution.

Delivery can be carried out by mail, bank or other similar financial institutions. Payment - a certain amount of interest on the pensions themselves. Full regulation of the activities of such organizations is provided in the current legislation.

About recalculation procedure

Working retirees themselves must study the formula of calculation to be sure of the correct results.

Now there are some difficulties due to the fact that a lot of indicators are used.

If a citizen receives additional income from which contributions to the Pension Fund are made, then you can count on a constant recalculation of the amounts.

There are two ways to get cash:

  1. Bezazaavitelny. The Pension Fund itself is responsible for it; the adjustment of payments is carried out automatically.
  2. Declarative. The citizen writes his application to the Pension Fund at the place of residence.

In addition, recalculation is carried out under the following conditions:

  • the acquisition of additional working experience;
  • the presence of a pension for the first breadwinner, the simultaneous loss of the second;
  • change in the number of dependents;
  • getting another disability group;
  • reaching the age of 80 years.

About indexation of pensions after dismissal

The actual recalculation of the state pension is carried out immediately after the departure to a well-deserved rest. After the dismissal, the payment can be made within not more than three months, if the employer has timely issued, submitted all the documents.

The procedure will be as follows:

For example, the employment contract is broken in July. Then reporting to the FIU should be submitted in August. This document should contain an indication that the person is still listed as working.

But September reports may already contain data on dismissal. In October, a decision is being made regarding indexing. November is the month when recalculation begins.

At the same time, no compensation is paid for the three months during which recalculation was carried out. Re-employment does not lead to a reduction in benefits. Just all payments remain the same. Under such circumstances, it is not envisaged that the funds will be returned.

Applying for compensation

The main thing is to make sure that the employer draws up the documents on time. Unfair treatment of this issue deprives the pensioners themselves of the right to improve their financial situation. After the dismissal, the employee applies to the FIU with the following papers:

  1. A copy of the document where it is written about the dismissal. Usually it is the employment record or the contract itself.
  2. Copy of SNILS.
  3. A copy of the civil certificate.
  4. Application for receiving compensation payments.

The choice of the way in which the documents are submitted depends on the wishes and availability of free time. Using the Personal Cabinet and remote access is one of the most convenient options.

About additional benefits for working pensioners

Those who continue to work, despite their age, can be exempt from taxation of payments due. In addition, they can arrange additional unpaid leave of up to two weeks. For one property, you will not pay taxes. Finally, free travel by public transport is also available.

The main thing is that both the manager and the employee should contact the Pension Fund in a timely manner to process and deliver the documents. Then you can be sure that the legislation is fully respected. Then it remains to just wait for the completion of the calculation, display the results. If no questions arise, the citizen receives all the compensation that is due to him in connection with this or that status in society.
