  • four yolks;
  • 1 l. milk;
  • 300 gr. Sahara;
  • 100 gr. flour;
  • vanilla sugar optional.

How to cook custard cake Napoleon? Milk should be boiled over low heat. In another vessel, in the meantime, beat the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla, gradually adding flour.

Put the vessel on the fire and, while stirring, pour milk into it. Do not stop stirring the mixture, bring it to a boil. To make the cream thicker, we continue to keep it on low heat for several minutes.

Cake Napoleon: A Classic Recipe

Today, Napoleon cake is prepared in a variety of variations, which every year becomes more and more. However, the classic recipe for this sweetness does not lose its popularity. So, for the preparation of classic Napoleon will need such products.

For the test:

  • 3.5 cups first-class flour;
  • 400 gr. butter;
  • 2 eggs;

Half a cup of flour gently knead with butter. Then the infused dough is swung with a thickness of one and a half centimeters. Put butter mixed with flour in the center of the cake and wrap the dough in an envelope, closing the edges.

We gently swing the envelope, fold it in half two times, sprinkle with flour a little and put it in the cold for 30 minutes. Then again we shake, fold and set in a cold place. This action is repeated three times.

After cutting the dough into four equal parts. Three leave in the cold, one swing in the cake. So that he does not pout, before putting it in the oven, we stick the dough with a fork several times. Alternately roll out all the cakes.

Baking at a temperature of 220-230C for about 15 minutes until the cakes are browned.
