How to cook roast beef

Roast beef is one of the favorite dishes of housewives. It is prepared quickly, it turns out fragrant and nourishing, and is suitable for an ordinary dinner, and for serving at a festive table. Attracts a huge number of recipes: roast with potatoes, mushrooms, vegetables, cheese.

  • meat should be washed, dried, cut into small pieces;
  • fry in a pan or in a cauldron until half cooked;
  • put the whole mass in a pot or simmer in a frying pan.

For cooking this dish is best to use the pots, and not necessarily fry the meat, it will save some time. To make the roast more tender, you can add:

  • sour cream;
  • tomato paste;
  • cream sauce (based on butter);
  • mushroom sauce;
  • lemon juice.

It is very important to choose high-quality meat. It is best to choose the "lean" part of the beef: spatula, filet, neck. Very tender will be roast ribs. And salt and pepper meat before cooking should not be better marinated, so you can get meat with soft and tender flesh and roasted crust.

Classic recipe with home-made potatoes

Cooking time: 120 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 130 kcal.

Rather simple to prepare the dish, which attracts with its taste.

To make the roast as tasty as possible, the ingredients are first fried slightly and then stewed.

Looking for the following products:

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;
  • 80 g of bacon;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 10 champignons;
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley;
  • 250 ml of beef broth;
  • 0.7 kg beef tenderloin;
  • 0.3 kg of potatoes;
  • 2 tbsp. flour;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot.

Cooking:

  1. Wash the beef, blot with a paper towel, cut into small pieces.
  2. Chop onions, carrots, bacon.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet, fry the onions and bacon for 1-2 minutes on both sides.
  4. On the resulting fat, cook the tenderloin for 15 minutes - a brown crust should appear.
  5. Salt, pepper, rub with parsley.
  6. Sprinkle the meat with flour, stir to avoid lumps.
  7. Put onion, bacon, carrots in the pan, you can add 2 tbsp. wine for taste.
  8. When the mixture boils, reduce the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  9. Put potatoes and mushrooms to the mass, season with tomato paste.
  10. Cook under the lid for about 40 minutes. Open the pan and fry for another 20 minutes.

Roast Beef Potted

Cooking time: 90 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 85 kcal.

If the arrival of guests is expected soon, and you have nothing, you can cook this tasty dish. The main advantage is its serving in pots. To achieve a more delicate taste, you should use sour cream.

Ingredients:

  • 6 potatoes;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 sweet pepper;
  • salt and spices to taste (well combined with meat basil and thyme);
  • 0.6 kg beef fillet;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 3 tbsp. sour cream.

First, wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel, cut into pieces and fry in a dry frying pan until the water evaporates. Add to the meat finely chopped onion and garlic, fry until soft. In parallel, wash the carrots with pepper, cut into strips and add to the beef.

Five minutes later, arrange everything in a pot, sprinkle with diced potatoes, spices, pour broth and place sour cream on top.

Cook at +200 degrees for 1 hour.

Gentle creamy roast with mushrooms

Cooking time: 90 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 175 kcal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
  • 250 grams of cheese;
  • 150 ml of cream;
  • 0.5 kg of mushrooms;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 0.7 kg of beef;
  • 50 ml sour cream;
  • greens, salt and spices to taste;
  • 10 potatoes;
  • 3 small bulbs.

Preparation is quite simple:

  1. Heat the oil, passurize the onions and carrots in it for two minutes, then lay the vegetables in the pots.
  2. Top lay potatoes cut into cubes, salt.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese chips.
  4. Fry the mushrooms in the butter from the roasting, spread over the cheese.
  5. Fry the pieces of beef and also lay it in pots.
  6. Top with a mixture of sour cream and cream, sprinkle with herbs.

We send to the oven for an hour at a temperature of +180 degrees.

Hearty Pork Option

Cooking time: 60 minutes.

Caloric content: 100 kcal per 100 g.

The dish prepared according to this recipe will be even more tender and juicy due to the use of pork.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper;
  • 1 tbsp. flour;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • 8 potatoes;
  • salt to taste;
  • 500 g of beef;
  • 200 grams of pork;
  • 400 ml of water;
  • 200 grams of cabbage;
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil.

Cooking roast for this recipe is very simple: wash my meat, dry it, cut into cubes, put it into the pan and fry for 10-15 minutes. Add finely chopped garlic, grated carrots and shredded onions. Simmer another 10 minutes, then add the potatoes and cabbage.

Add water, pasta, pepper, salt, stir, fry over high heat for 15 minutes and simmer another 30 minutes over low heat.

Serve, decorated with greens.

Dish for a holiday: with beef and vegetables

Cooking time: 60 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 150 kcal.

The best combination is meat cooked with vegetables. This dish is perfect for those who stick to a diet. And so that both vegetables and meat do not lose their useful properties, they need to be fried a little bit and then stewed.

Prepared on the basis of zucchini, Bulgarian pepper, and tomatoes add juiciness.

Ingredients for cooking:

  • 1 zucchini;
  • 1 green onion feather;
  • 300 g beef fillet;
  • 2 tomatoes;
  • 200 ml of water;
  • bunch of greens;
  • spices and salt to taste;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 Bulgarian pepper;
  • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil.

Everything is very simple to prepare: first we prepare the meat - we wash it, we dry it, we cut it into slices. Fry it in hot oil, after 2 minutes add shredded onion, cut into zucchini and onion. Season with spices, salt, add garlic, herbs, pour water.

Simmer on low heat for about 7 minutes, add tomatoes to the meat and leave on the stove for 30-40 minutes, closing the pan with a lid.

2 minutes before the end of the preparation, sprinkle the dish with greens and serve it to the table.

How to cook in a slow cooker

Cooking time: 80 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 120 kcal.

The cooking process is incredibly simple. The main advantage of using a multicooker is that you do not need to constantly monitor the entire process.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 500 grams of meat;
  • 2 bulbs and carrots;
  • salt to taste;
  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste;
  • 1 clove garlic.

Set the "Frying" mode, for a few minutes, passace the onions and carrots, add the meat and leave for 15-20 minutes, then pour all the water, add the tomato paste, chopped potatoes and stew for another half hour.

It remains to spread the roast on plates and decorate with greens.
