How to make fruit jelly

To prepare such a natural and very tasty dish is quite simple - we will share recipes based on strawberries and grapes.

With strawberry

Preparation time: 30 minutes + 90 minutes for freezing.

Caloric content per 100 g: 50 kcal.

For the preparation we will need the following ingredients:

  • 70 grams of sugar:
  • 60 ml of purified (or filtered) water;
  • 20 ml of boiling water;
  • 70 g strawberry jelly;
  • 15 g of instant gelatin;
  • 300 g strawberries.

The cooking is very simple:

  1. We take the berries, carefully wash them, clean them from the leaves and leave in a colander to glass all the water.
  2. In parallel with this, pour strawberry jelly with boiling water, pour sugar and stir thoroughly.
  3. In a separate container dissolve gelatin in pure water.
  4. Dried strawberry berries grind in a blender to the consistency of mashed potatoes.
  5. Heat the gelatin on the stove, but do not bring it to a boil, pour it into the cooled strawberry jelly. We mix, since there should not be lumps and grains in the mass.
  6. The resulting mixture is poured into suitable containers and put in the fridge.

From grapes

Preparation time: 30 minutes + 120 minutes for freezing.

Prepare only three ingredients:

  • 350 m grape juice (red);
  • 120-150 grams of red grapes;
  • 20 g of instant gelatin.

First, fill the container with juice and heat it to about +50 degrees. Remove the saucepan from the stove and add the gelatin, making sure that it dissolves completely. Cut the berries into two pieces and place them in jelly molds. Pour the grapes with the prepared mixture and refrigerate for two hours to freeze.

The recipe for a delicious dessert based on sour cream

Preparation time: 30 minutes + 120 minutes for freezing.

Calories: 160 kcal per 100 g.

This dessert is made from the following ingredients:

  • 350 ml of sour cream (fat content of at least 20%);
  • 2 oranges;
  • 2 Kiwis;
  • 2 pack fruit jelly.

When cooking jelly can use other fruits to your taste. The cooking process is as follows:

Dissolve powdered jelly according to the instructions: most often it is poured with boiling water (about 350 ml per 1 package). Mix well, so that the mixture was lump free.

We do the same with the second package of jelly (you can take it with a different taste), but we also add sour cream (to get a sweet jelly, you can pour some sugar).

In prepared containers cut the fruit and pour a layer of jelly. We put them in the fridge for 1.5-2 hours, after the time has elapsed, we fill them with the cream layer and send them back to freeze. Before serving, dessert can be decorated with pieces of fruit, mint leaves.

Sweet jelly with condensed milk

Preparation time: 30 minutes + 60 minutes for freezing.

Caloric content: 150 kcal per 100 g.

If you want to cook something very sweet, it is best to use this recipe. You will need such products:

  • 300 ml condensed milk;
  • 30 g jelly (instant).

Additionally, you can decorate the dessert with fresh fruit, chocolate pieces. The recipe is simple:

  1. Take the pan, pour 120 ml of water. Heat the liquid, mix with gelatin. Do not remove from heat and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  2. After cooking, add condensed milk to the mass and put the container on the stove. The main thing is to ensure that the liquid does not boil - immediately remove from the stove with the appearance of bubbles.
  3. The resulting mixture is poured into molds, cooled, put in the refrigerator. Decorate at your discretion.

The recipe for making jelly jelly dessert

Cooking time: 15 minutes + 60 minutes for freezing.

  • some citric acid;
  • 700 ml of filtered water;

This dish is very tasty, cooked quickly, suitable for those who would like to lose weight. We will need the following ingredients:

  • 500 ml of milk;
  • 0.5 glass of water;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 3 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 1 tbsp. gelatin;
  • vanilla - to taste.

In addition, you can add nutmeg, spices, chocolate, fruit.

To prepare you need to do the following:

  1. Fill gelatin with boiled water (it should be at room temperature), leave for about 30 minutes to swell.
  2. Bring milk to boil. As soon as the first bubbles appear, add sugar, boil again, remove from the heat and add gelatin. All mix.
  3. When the mixture has cooled down a little, add vanillin there, filter the mass through a sieve, put it in a jelly container and send it to the fridge.

Chocolate Dessert With Cocoa

Preparation time: 15 minutes + 1.5 hours to freeze.

To make chocolate jelly, you need the following products:

  • 200 ml of milk;
  • 100 g of sugar;

  • 2 tsp. gelatin.

  2. Mix everything and put on medium heat, waiting for the cocoa and sugar to dissolve.

Three recipes of currant jelly for winter

With gelatin

Cooking time: 50 minutes.

Calories: 68 kcal per 100 g.

To make a dish of rather dense consistency, beautiful color, one cannot do without gelatin. To prepare this dish you need the following products:

  • 150 g of red currant;
  • 2 tbsp. gelatin;
  • 600 ml of water;
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
  • to taste - sugar.

Cooking is simple:

  1. Soak gelatin for half an hour in warm water (ratio: 1 spoon of gelatin to 1 cup of water).
  2. After complete dissolution add sugar, put the container on the fire and bring to the boil. Leave to cool.
  3. Wash currants and dry on a towel or put in a sieve for 5 minutes to let the water run.
  4. Rub and strain. Mix the resulting juice with a warm solution of gelatin, add lemon juice. Mix everything.

Without gelatin

Jelly will look much more beautiful if you prepare it from two types of berries - red and black. Ingredients are as follows:

  • 1 kg of red currant;
  • 500 g of black currant;
  • 1.5 kg of sugar;
  • 100 ml of white dry wine.

Recipe:

  1. Peel red skin, rinse, dry and strain through a sieve. If there is a meat grinder, you can scroll through it. Separate the juice, for this you can use gauze.
  2. Black currant should be washed, but leave it whole.
  3. The juice of the berries mixed with sugar, for which you need to warm it up to about 40 degrees.
  4. Add currants to the mass, wine - alcohol will allow the sugar to penetrate the berries faster, so that the finished product will not deteriorate.
  5. Pour the dish over the jars when it cools to room temperature.

With agar-agar

Instead of gelatin, you can use agar-agar, because it is much more useful.

Cooking time: 80 minutes.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 kg of red currant;
  • 300 ml of water;
  • 300 g of sugar;
  • 1 g of vanilla;
  • 3 tsp. agar-agar.

First, grind and filter the berries through 4-5 layers of gauze. We add vanillin, agar-agar, one-fifth of the resulting juice from the berries into the boiling water - leave it for an hour to swell the ingredient. Then we fall asleep sugar, we mix, we connect all products and we shake up whisk. Spill the resulting mass in containers.

Cooking Tips

Jelly is a very popular dish, as it is not only tasty, but also healthy. It can be prepared not only on gelatin, but also using agar-agar - these components are needed to achieve the desired consistency. And to make the dessert tasty, follow the simple rules:

  1. You should not use aluminum dishes, because the finished product in it can darken and get an unpleasant taste.
  2. To improve the taste of jelly, add there literally two teaspoons of wine or lemon juice.
  3. To avoid the formation of lumps in the mass, pour the gelatin in a bowl with a heated bottom.
  4. First, the jelly should cool down, after which it should be put in the refrigerator.
