  • 80 g of oil;
  • to taste sugar and salt.

The cooking process is incredibly simple - even a child can handle it. First, rinse the rump thoroughly to remove small debris. Then pour it into the bowl and fill it with water. On the crock-pot the mode "Krupa" is set.

Most often, the automatics sets the time to 30 minutes, however, during this period, the croup, although it will become crumbly, will still be tough. Therefore, wait until the end, check the porridge and, if necessary, boil it for another 10 minutes. At the very end, add the butter.

Cook in a saucepan

Cooking time: 20 minutes.

To prepare you need ingredients such as:

  • 100 g of cereals;
  • 250 ml of water;
  • 40 g sugar;
  • 10 g of oil;
  • 5 g of salt.

The cooking process is simple:

  1. We take a tank with a thick bottom, fill it with water and set it on fire. When the liquid boils, add a little salt.
  2. We wash porridge, we spread it in water, we mix. As soon as the liquid boils, we put the sugar to sleep, once again we mix everything up and set the minimum fire.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Before serving in a bowl of corn porridge, add a piece of butter.

To prepare 1 portion of porridge needed:

  • 100 ml of water and milk;
  • 10 g butter;
  • 20 g of raisins.

Preheat the oven to +180 degrees, pour water and milk into a heat-resistant container. Pour the cereal, add the washed raisins. If you want to get a sweeter porridge, just add some sugar. All mix and put the container in the oven first for 30 minutes, then mix and cook another 15 minutes.

Cornmeal with apple

Cooking time: 45 minutes.

To make such porridge, take:

  • 200 g of cereals;
  • 400 ml of milk;
  • 200 ml of water;
  • 2 apples;
  • 2 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 50 g of oil.

The cooking is very simple:

  1. We clean and wash the cereal. We boil milk with water.
  2. Fall asleep in the grits and cook for 15 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sugar and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. During this time, you need to clean the apples, remove the seeds, grate the fruit on a grater.

Such porridge will differ not only in taste, but also in usefulness due to the use of bananas. To prepare it, you need ingredients such as:

  • 3 tbsp. cereals;
  • 300 ml of milk;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 1 banana;
  • 10 g of oil.

We wash the grits thoroughly, combine milk and water, heat the liquid. When it boils, add corn grits to it and cook for 10-15 minutes. Cook until porridge is ready, then add a banana to it, mix well. Leave the porridge for 15 minutes, after which it can be served.

How to cook porridge even tastier

From maize you can get not only children's dishes, this porridge will be an excellent complement to meat and vegetable dishes.

With vegetables

Cooking time: 60 minutes.

Calories per 100 g: 92 kcal.

Buy the following ingredients:

  • 2.5 cups of maize;
  • 1 l of water;
  • 300 g pumpkin;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 tsp salt and seasoning to taste.

For the preparation of this dish you need to take small grits or, if you have not found one in the store, grind the maize in a coffee grinder. Mix the resulting consistency with a small amount of water to form a homogeneous mixture. Separately, you need to put a pot of water and boil it, then pour the mixture and cook on minimal heat, stirring regularly.

While the mass is preparing, prepare a pumpkin: peel it and remove the seeds, cut into large pieces. Do the same with the carrots, then add the vegetables to the porridge. Peel onions, finely chop and fry on a small amount of oil, also send to the mixture.

Add salt, spices, mix gently and leave on the stove for 40 minutes. When serving, decorate each plate with greens, and sprinkle the dish itself with finely chopped hot peppers or fried shrimps (as in the photo).

Cooking a meat dish

Cooking time: 60 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 123 kcal.

Maize can be cooked and meat dish. We will need:

  • 200 kg of porridge;
  • 400 grams of any meat (but it’s best to take chicken because it cooks very quickly);
  • 0.6 l of water;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot;
  • salt and seasoning to taste.

The preparation is very simple: chop the chicken into small cubes, clean the onions and chop, grate the carrots. Vegetables are sent to be sauteed in a frying pan over low heat. In parallel with this, we wash the maize, put it in a saucepan, season it with spices and salt. Top put the chicken and vegetables, fill with water.

Put the container on a small fire and cook for 40 minutes.

How to cook hominy

Hominy is a famous Romanian dish, which is a thick corn porridge. In addition to this dish, sour cream with garlic and cheese are always served. Most often, such porridge is cooked in large volumes - for all family members.

We will need:

  • 500 g of cereals;
  • 1500 ml of water;
  • 100 g of oil.

To make it, do the following:

  1. Boil water in a large saucepan, add oil, a little salt.
  2. Pour the rump in a thin stream and stir constantly, this will avoid the formation of lumps.
  3. Turn on slow fire and cook porridge for 30 minutes. And so that the mixture does not stick, it must be stirred.
  4. When the porridge is cooked, turn the pan upside down. After the mass has cooled, cut into pieces.

It remains to serve the dressing to the dish: take 2 cloves of garlic, pass through the press, mix with sour cream and pieces of cheese.
