Cooking pork belly in the oven

  • 4 leaves of laurel;

We need:

  • 1 kg of brisket;
  • 5 tbsp. olive oil;
  • 2 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tsp Provencal herbs;
  • 2 onions;
  • 0.4 kg of champignons;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 2 tbsp. breadcrumbs.

First, prepare the meat: rinse it under water, cut it so that an oblong layer is obtained from the meat - it will be more convenient to cook the roll. Then carefully beat off the piece with a wooden hammer.

In a separate container, mix the oil, finely chopped garlic, spices and salt. The resulting mixture, rub a piece of meat, put in a bag or container, leave to marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator.

  • 5 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 chili;
  • mustard, coriander and fennel seeds to taste;

Cooking is simple:

  1. Prepare the meat: mine, cut it into rectangular pieces of 6 * 6 cm in size. We spread it in a deep container.
  2. Pour water into a saucepan (preferably enameled), put an egg or a peeled potato, add salt and stir it constantly until one of the ingredients pops up (hence, the salt is completely dissolved).
  3. Add all the spices to the solution, put on the stove and cook for 5-7 minutes after boiling.
  4. We cool the liquid to +50 degrees, pour the brisket with the resulting solution so that the mixture covers the pieces completely.
  5. Cover the container with a lid and remove for two days in the fridge.
  6. After a specified time, it remains to cut the meat into pieces and serve it to the table.

Simple pork recipe in a package

Cooking time: 150 minutes.

Caloric content per 100 g: 467 kcal.

You will need:

  • 800 g brisket;
  • 1 head of garlic;
  • 0.5 tsp salts;
  • to taste ground black pepper;
  • seasoning for pork.

The brisket should be cut into two parts, sprinkled with seasonings, salt, pepper, and grated with garlic. Put the pork in a separate container, cover with a lid, leave in the fridge overnight so that the meat is well marinated.

After that, you need to shift the bags of meat (it is better to wrap in 2-3 bags so that the water does not penetrate inside) into the container with cold water and send it to boil for two hours, putting the pan on the minimum fire.

If cooking in a slow cooker, set the “Soup” mode for 1.5-2 hours.

After turning off the stove, leave the meat in the fridge for another half an hour, let it cool for a while, then you can take out the pork. But it is best to wrap the brisket in foil and put it in the fridge at night, after which it can be served on the table.
