Severe scars on the face and hands can significantly spoil the appearance, create an impression about a person that he would not like to make - for example, overly aggressive or, on the contrary, suicidal. A scar can be a reminder of not the most pleasant events in a person’s life, so it’s not surprising that people want to get rid of them, especially young girls.
But apart from aesthetic and psychological reasons, there are other, even more important reasons for removing some scars. A deep and large scar can affect not only the skin, but also the subcutaneous tissue under it, and in some cases, especially on the face and hands, muscles.
Scar tissue does not have the same elasticity as the skin, and moreover it cannot contract like a muscle, so the presence of rough scars on the face can disrupt facial expressions, and on the hands it can disrupt the mobility of small joints, including the interphalangeal joints. Types of scars and scars

Keloid scars

Tightened scars

Striae (stretch marks)

What procedures can I use to get rid of scars?

Injections
Most often prescribed for atrophic and tight scars. Hyaluronic acid preparations are injected, which are injected under the skin.
Laser removal (grinding)
It is used for hypertrophic scars. The essence of the method is that soldering of the skin vessels that feed the scar occurs, and the overgrown connective tissue is reduced in size. The scar becomes flesh-colored, flush with the surrounding skin, or slightly rising above it.

A well-made mask of Vishnevsky ointment, mixed with a scoured egg-shell (to a gruel state), is well suited for the face; you can add olive oil and a few drops of peppermint or geranium oil. Postoperative scars are advised to lubricate melted lard or essential oils of coniferous trees. The effectiveness of such tools is higher if you begin to apply them immediately after the removal of sutures (with the permission of the attending physician, so as not to cause harm to your health). In a later period lose their effectiveness.
Compresses of cabbage leaves with honey are used to remove scars after surgery. A few leaves of cabbage need to grind into a mush and evenly mixed with honey, put under a compress for two hours, it should be done twice a day.
From old scars, onion mixture - chopped onion, fried in unrefined vegetable oil, helps a lot. The same result gives the infusion of calendula flowers or herbal collection against scarring.
Collection of herbs from equal parts - chamomile, nettle, yarrow, mountaineer, deadling, tutsan. These herbs are boiled with boiling water (2 tablespoons per cup), infused for an hour, then a compress is made of them.
Pea dough helps from old scars. To do this, dilute the pea flour with warm milk in equal proportions, mix well and apply to the scar every day, leaving no less than an hour. It is necessary to carry out this procedure until the scar is completely resolved.

Surgery - the most radical way to get rid of scars.
