Contraindications

This remedy is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • astheno-depressive syndrome;
  • epilepsy;
  • diseases of the cardiovascular system;
  • intestinal or bladder atony;
  • prostatic hypertrophy;
  • angle-closure glaucoma.

Because of the irritating effect on the mucous membrane, Diazolin is not prescribed in the presence of ulcerative processes in the stomach or duodenum, with inflammation of the intestinal walls. During pregnancy

Children are prescribed a means of pills or tablets of 0.05 g. A single dose is:

  • for children aged 3-5 years: 0.05 g to 2 times per day;
  • for children 6-10 years: 0.05 to 3 times a day;
  • for children 10-12 years old - 0.05 g to 4 times per day.

For children under 3 years old, this remedy can be prescribed only in the case when the therapeutic effect of its administration will prevail over possible side effects. Children under one year means is not prescribed.

The grounds for prescribing children's Diazolin are the same pathologies as in adults. These include:

  • allergic dermatosis;
  • food or drug allergies;
  • fever and so on.

Diazolin is often used by doctors in the treatment of SARS.
