Instructions for use of the drug Cortexin

Cortexin is a product of domestic production, which is produced by the pharmaceutical company Geropharm. An integral part of this medicinal product are the combined low molecular weight fractions of polypeptides, which are extracted by extracting from the cerebral cortex of cattle and pigs.

This drug helps to improve mental performance and stabilize the central nervous system. In addition, it is widely used for the treatment and prevention of diseases that are directly related to impaired blood circulation in the brain, as well as changes in other cerebral functions.

The composition and release form of the drug

The basis of this drug is a combination of water-soluble polypeptide fractions - Cortexin.

Glycine acts as an excipient, which in this case is a kind of stabilizer.

The drug is available exclusively in the form of a solution for intramuscular injections.

  4. Intensify the reparative work of the central nervous system (CNS).

Reviews

A significant proportion of people who took Cortexin speak of it as a drug with a positive effect. In the majority of reviews, it is written that after going through therapy, attention, memory, mental work improved, and tension and nervousness also decreased.

Many say that it takes less time to solve abstract or specific problems.

As for negative reviews, there are not so many of them. Most people complain that they did not get any expected effect from the drug, that is, in their opinion, it is a dummy. Some people write about the appearance of allergic reactions with the introduction of this drug.

According to reviews, Cortexin in the treatment of children provided a noticeable effect after the therapeutic course passed. The children began to talk, their speech became more intelligible and fluent, the vocabulary increased markedly. In adolescents, there was an improvement in memory, attention and productivity of thinking. As a result, children perceived new information much faster and more qualitatively. Also, children under five years old have become much better sleep and behave calmer.

By the age of two, my baby said little: something was babbling, but not very active (the birth was rather hard, which, perhaps, had an effect). We went to the neurologist: the song, of course, was long, was observed by the doctors, attended all sorts of courses. I will not speak for long, but only six months later a new doctor prescribed this remedy for us. Not to say that it helped immediately, but by the three years the situation had improved a lot, we were even removed from the register. I do not understand just where we spent half the year before?

Anna, 32 years old

I have a very difficult job in mental terms, I sleep quite a bit and as a result I began to lose activity. Some advised to drink Glycine, but, frankly, did not see any sense in it. My doctor recommended Cortexin to me, although I am terribly afraid of injections. Undoubtedly, it didn’t help me at once, but I began to feel better, more vigorous, I work more and at the same time don’t get so tired.

Anton, 34 years old

Based on the reviews, the therapeutic drug Cortexin can be considered effective for the treatment or prevention of neurological disorders in both adults and children.
