Useful tips

What is the main charm of cooking chicken thighs, is that in any case they get tasty, even the most novice chefs. Spoiling this dish, no matter what recipe is chosen, is rather difficult, but you can make it even better; you only need to use the time-tested cooking secrets:

  1. Chicken thighs are cooked quickly, and in order not to overdo them in the oven, you can chop the potatoes (if the dish is cooked with it) in rather thin slices.
  2. To make the dish even more juicy, you can add cream to the sauce.
  3. Salt and other spices must be added to the dish before cooking, otherwise the taste will leave much to be desired - meat and vegetables will not be able to soak in them.
  4. The longer the chicken meat is in the marinade, the more tender it is, so you can marinate the hips in the evening and leave them in the fridge.
  5. Defrost chicken thighs preferably at room temperature, after which they should be washed in water and dried with paper towels or napkins.
  6. You can make a chicken thigh crust in an oven especially golden and appetizing if you add some curry or turmeric to the marinade (alternatively, saffron).
  7. If you take out the bones from the chicken thighs and beat them off with a hammer, you can get very tender and tasty chicken chops, it’s enough to cook a batter for them.
  8. With chicken marinades for chicken thighs, you can safely experiment - put in them various spices and seasonings, both ready for chicken and exotic. Even in the marinade for chicken, you can add tomato paste, dairy products, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, etc., as well as a variety of herbs and spices.
  9. As a side dish for meat, you can take not only potatoes, but also buckwheat or other cereals, as well as mushrooms, broccoli or cauliflower. You can add a couple of lemon pieces to the baking dish, and the dish will come out even more fragrant.
  10. If thighs are baked with potatoes, cereals or mushrooms, you need to take the sauce from such ingredients as mayonnaise, sour cream or yogurt, etc., because the juiciness of the dish will depend on it. If the hips are baked with vegetables, then the sauce can be abandoned, as the juice from the vegetables will be enough for the whole dish.
  11. For more soaking chicken meat flavors, you can use a sleeve for baking or wrap it in foil. And the remaining inside the sauce will be a great independent sauce for an already prepared dish or side dish for it.
