What is HYIP in simple words?

The term "HYIP" is a relatively new word in youth slang. In order to answer the question "What is it and what is it eaten with," let's try to understand this topic in more detail.

HYIP - a new phenomenon in the Internet environment

The concept of "HYIP" came to the Russian-speaking environment from the English language. This word can be translated either as “hype”, or as “hype”.

It is worth noting that this is not the same thing. These terms differ significantly in meaning.

Let's take a closer look at each of them.

To begin with, we offer a small excursion into history. So it will be much easier to grasp the concept of "hype".

So, the beginning of the 50s. The United States after the end of World War II experienced an unprecedented economic recovery. At the same time, the economy is facing the problem of overproduction of goods. Suddenly, advertising comes to the rescue - radio, television, as well as leaflets actively motivate a person to purchase a particular product. Thus, the pattern is clearly visible - the industry produces goods, and advertising motivates them to buy.

However, over time, the situation changes somewhat. By the beginning of the XXI century, the opposite phenomenon begins to be seen. The so-called "consumer society" leads to the fact that advertising agencies begin to explore the interests of the population and motivate the industry to produce certain goods under their requests.

Thus, we can conclude that in modern society the term "HYIP" is precisely the "hype" around a product or phenomenon.

HYIP and antihipe

So, with the history of the term understood. However, it is not entirely clear what constitutes a "HYIP" in modern society. In order to understand this issue, let's consider this phenomenon with specific examples.

The earliest manifestation of HYIP as an independent phenomenon can be seen in the 90s of the last century. It was then that formed a kind of culture, later called the "Children of the 90s." What led to its manifestation?

If you look at this problem from a policy point of view, the answer becomes obvious - the so-called “Iron Curtain” fell - the policy of isolating the Soviet Union from Western states. The insulation is both economic and cultural.

At the same time, goods of western manufacture are beginning to penetrate into the country, at that time Russia already. And it is precisely at this moment that HYIP occurs. Culturally impoverished strata of the population, or, to put it another way, “savages,” begin to build these same products into a cult.

There is a cult of jeans. For example, a schoolboy, whose parents were able to purchase a jacket or pants, becomes an "elite" among his classmates. This also includes the cult of the tape recorder - the most important value in life, according to the youth of those years.

The so-called incident in Sokolniki of the 75th year is especially indicative. Upon completion of the hockey match between the teams of the USSR and Canada, the latter decided to treat the spectators with chewing gum. The resulting crush in an attempt to get a cult product led to the death of the 21st person.

Towards the end of the 90s, another type of HYIP becomes widespread among teenagers. There is a fashion for collecting so-called "liners", which are paper stickers that came with chewing gum. It could also be "chips" - plastic trinkets, which were also attached to any food products - chips, candy, etc. In both cases, that inserts, that chips became a cult among schoolchildren. And in some cases even served as currency.

Since about 2010, HYIP as a phenomenon has received a new wave of propagation. This is actively promoted by the wide distribution of the Internet. Sharing information is now much easier.

The most striking example of the excitement can be attributed to the proliferation of such things as hoverboards and electronic cigarettes. Coincidentally, both waves of popularity occurred almost at the same time, which led to the emergence of a funny joke on the Internet: “The giro scooter is a stand for the vaper”.

So, with the first concept figured out. What is the "antihipe"? The answer may sound too banal and obvious, but this is the exact opposite of HYIP.

What is Zashkvar?

This term originally came from prison jargon, which, unfortunately, is becoming more common among modern Russian youth. What does this term represent? Let's try to answer and give a few examples.

Since we are cultural people, we will call things cultural names, not slang substitutes.

The term "zashkvvar", in simple terms, means taboo, that is, a ban on any action. For example, in a cultural environment, a parking space on a lawn will be considered a stalker.

How to make money on HYIPs?

Seriously speaking, one enthusiasm is not enough. We need not only certain skills, but also starting means.

However, as experience shows, it is quite possible to make money on the rush topic. So, for example, with the spread of the so-called "waiting", some enterprising people began to sew plush toys or make ceramic figurines. The wealthier, however, established the production of spinners, when they were popular.

Hip projects

HYIP projects - a topic that we consider solely because of the consonance of the name. What do they represent?

Hip projects, in fact, are the so-called financial pyramids like MMM and the like. Needless to say, only the founder, but not the participants, can earn on such pyramids.
