How to make a snowman: instructions step by step with photos
Of sock
In each house there are several unpaired socks. They are perfect for such a thing. However, you can take terry, which will make the toy the most interesting. Color can be any, depends on your wishes.
You will also need: a few pieces of material, suitable for the color of the thread, beads, buttons, any small grits.
- Cut the toe as close as possible to the heel.
- Tighten the string a little bit.
- Cover the cereal inside.

- Sew beads in the form of eyes and nose.

From paper
This is the easiest way to make a snowman. Everyone has a paper in the house. Additionally need markers, glue, scissors and colored paper. Total required 4 sheets of A4.
- A sheet of paper crumple, forming a lump of it.
- Then unfold the sheet, completely straightened, and then crush again, squeezing as much as possible in a fist. Do this all a few times until the paper is very soft. Carry out a similar procedure with all sheets. One of them must be divided in half.
- Next, form a paper "snow" balls. To do this, crumple one of them, and then wrap it in another piece of paper. This should be done as carefully as possible, turning the corners inward.
- In the same way make the middle ball.
- The last small ball roll out of half a sheet.
- From the quarters of a sheet of paper roll up the same balls. These will be the snowman's pens.
- From orange paper to form a cone-carrot - the tip of a snowman.
- Now you need to "blind" the snowman. Since it is paper-based, it is done with an adhesive that will firmly hold all the details together. Do not forget to glue the spout-carrot.
- Next you should make a cylinder or a bucket on the head of a snowman. To do this, roll up a strip of paper and glue the ends.

Made of cotton

You will need: cotton, soap, toothpicks, twigs, PVA glue, paint brushes, paint (orange, black, red), beads, glitter.
- To tear cotton wool into small pieces.
- A little wetting fingers, roll cotton, forming balls from it. You need to monitor their size so that they are different.
- Next, leave them to dry in a warm place.
- Dilute the glue with a little water. There also add small sparkles. Then use a brush to apply the solution to the resulting balls, which will create the impression of a real iridescent snow.
- Tear off a small piece of cotton, moisten and wrap on the tip of a toothpick. The result is a billet for the nose-carrot. After smearing it with a mixture of PVA glue and orange paint. Leave to dry.
- Insert a toothpick moistened with glue into the lower ball.
- From above to plant a smaller ball.
- Glue the spout, eyes, beads, buttons, branches, hands.
- You can add accessories such as a bucket (top hat, hat) and a scarf.
From cotton pads
It’s very easy to make a snowman out of cotton pads, as they have a ready-made rounded shape. If you urgently need to make crafts, then this is the most suitable option. For this you will need: 2 cotton pads, glue, colored paper, scissors, marker, cardboard or adhesive-based film.
- Trim one of the discs to 3-4 mm so that it becomes smaller. It will be the head of a snowman.
- Cut out circles from colored paper, thus making eyes and buttons that need to be glued to the body and head. Or they can be drawn with a marker. If you want to make the toy more spectacular, then you can buy special eyes at sewing stores.
- From the same colored paper cut hat, top hat or bucket and scarf. Also do not forget about the nose-carrot.
- A sheet of colored cardboard folded in half, to get something like a postcard. If you want to make a picture on the window, then you can use a regular piece of cardboard.
- Paste alternately both wadded circles. And the small should go to the big one.
- Glue the hat, scarf and nose.
- To decorate the window to glue the snowman with a glue transparent film.

Plastic cups
If there is enough white plastic disposable cups, then you can make a snowman out of them. The craft turns out to be quite voluminous, and this should be taken into account.
For it are necessary: identical disposable cups (100-150 pieces), stapler, scissors, Santa Claus hat, scarf, colored paper, glue, pieces of waste fabric.
- Lay out the first round of cups, connecting them with a stapler.
- Next, in the same way lay out the following circles, reducing the diameter. In order for them to lie flat, you need to put the next row of cups between the previous one.
- Rows necessarily fasten together.
- Having completed one hemisphere to the end, they make another one the same and fasten them together with a stapler or glue gun.
- The second ball is made in the same way.
- It should be remembered that the sphere should not be completely closed. Both should not be completed, since one must be installed on the second for ease of connection, and the second is placed on the floor for stability.
- Connect both spheres. Inside the bottom you can put a garland, which will give festivity and solemnity to the snowman.
- Wear a hat on your head, tie a scarf around your neck. Instead of buttons, put crumpled pieces of material into empty cups.
- From paper cut eyes, mouth. For a nose, cut a triangle and roll it up into a cone. Glue them on the "face" of a snowman.
From threads and balls
This option is longer than the above. But the result obtained is light, airy and elegant. The main thing is not to make it too large, since the threads will be simply dipped in glue and, after drying, must keep their shape. That is, you should not inflate balls more than 15-25 cm in diameter.
For the manufacture of this crafts will require: a skein of white solid thread, a needle, PVA glue, scissors, balls (3-5 pieces, depending on whether you make ball pens).
- Inflate the three balls in size incrementally. Two balls are inflated from the calculation that they will be handles.
- We wet the thread in the glue as follows: thread it in the eye of a large needle and pierce a tube of glue. Thus, it will be soaked, but not too wet.
- Now each ball needs to be greased with vegetable oil so that later the threads do not stick to it.
- Wrap each ball of thread in a chaotic manner, but trying to do it as tightly as possible so that there is little clearance. You should also tightly pass the lower section for better fastening.
- Leave to dry in a warm, dry place for 12-24 hours. The time depends on the thickness of the thread, the quality of the glue and the density of the winding.
- Pierce the balls with a needle and carefully remove them through the remaining hole.
- Slightly crush the bottom of the spheres to facilitate further assembly and fastening of parts.
- Next, collect in the correct order all the details.
- Decorating the resulting snowman depends on taste and fantasy. The main thing is that they do not heavily weight the structure.
