Milgamma is a tool that affects the metabolic processes occurring in the tissues of the body. Milgamma is considered a multivitamin preparation. Most often, this tool is used for neurological disorders and for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

- 100 mg of thiamine hydrochloride (B1). This component is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates;
- 100 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6). It has an effect on the metabolic processes associated with fats, amino acids and carbohydrates. It also participates in the synthesis of many enzymes, adrenaline, histamine and serotonin. Vitamin is involved in the formation of hemoglobin.
The active ingredients have a beneficial effect on the degenerative and inflammatory diseases of the locomotor apparatus and nerves.
Among the auxiliary components in Milgamma contains benzyl alcohol, sodium polyphosphate, lidocaine hydrochloride, potassium hexacyanoferrate, as well as fluid for injection.

With severe pain, it is recommended to do 1 injection at a dose of 2 milliliters per day. When the pain syndrome is unexpressed, or the acute phase of the disease has passed, then one injection is prescribed two to three times a week.
With maintenance therapy, the drug is administered once every two days. For this purpose, a tableted Milgamma can be used. Also, this form is recommended after the removal of acute pain.
The duration of drug treatment is up to one month.
It is recommended during the procedure to insert the needle deep into the muscle. Milgamma injections are intended solely for intramuscular administration. If there has been a careless injection into a vein, specialist supervision is necessary.
Use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnant women need to take daily vitamin B6 at a dose of 2, 6 mg, and vitamin B1 - not more than 1.6 mg. Such dosages are usually prescribed during pregnancy, if these vitamins in the body is not enough.
In appointing Milgamma to breastfeeding mothers, it is important to remember that vitamin B6 and B1 pass into breast milk. Large doses of B12 can suppress lactation in women.

Side effects, signs of overdose and actions in this situation

- tachycardia;
- decrease in heart rate;
- confusion;
- nausea and gagging.

In addition to such systemic reactions, the development of an allergic reaction is possible, which manifests itself in the form of angioedema, various eruptions on the skin, urticaria, dyspnea, pruritus or anaphylactic shock.
