Cardiac Magnetic is a widespread blood thinning agent. Combines the aspirin performing the main function and the magnesium hydroxide protecting from the irritation of the stomach. A good drug for preventive measures in order to avoid diseases associated with the heart and blood vessels.
Does not allow the formation of blood clots, the occurrence of embolism. It is effective after operations on vessels and, if necessary, prevention of recurrent cases of heart disease.

Cardiomagnyl: indications and contraindications
Drug preventive agent designed to prevent increased platelet aggregation and recommended for use under the following conditions:
- chronic or acute ischemia of the heart;
- blockage of blood vessels by gas bubbles and foreign particles that bring blood and lymph;
- migraine;
- ischemic circulatory disorder of the brain;
- after coronary artery bypass surgery and PTCA (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty);
- people with a high probability of developing cardiovascular disease (cardiovascular system): diabetics, smokers, hypertensive patients, with high cholesterol, obese, in old age.
Contraindicated use with recent bleeding in the brain, gastrointestinal tract (gastrointestinal tract), poor blood clotting, thrombocytopenia, prothrombin deficiency.
Cardio Magnetic: instructions for use
It is used internally in various ways: swallowing whole, by breaking in half, chewing, grinding into powder. Wash down with plenty of water. Reception is recommended during meals.
Dosage:
- primary preventive measures for people with risk factors for the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases (diabetics, smokers, elderly people with elevated cholesterol, hypertensive patients) - 1 tablet with ASK (acetylsalicylic acid) 150 mg on the first day, then 1 tablet with a mass of ASK 75 mg, once a day;
- to prevent the recurrence of myocardial infarction and vascular occlusion - 1 tablet of Cardiomagnil with an ASA mass of 75-150 mg, once a day;
- in order to prevent thromboembolism after surgical operations - take 1 tablet of the drug containing aspirin in a dose of 75-150 mg once a day;
- patients with unstable angina - 1 tablet with an aspirin content of 75-150 mg, once a day.
The drug is designed for a long course of treatment. Individually, the doctor will prescribe the necessary dosage and duration of administration.
Side effects and overdose
The drug in most cases is well accepted by the patient. Side effects are often associated with aspirin intolerance.
The following reactions were recorded: nausea, vomiting, heartburn, dizziness, tinnitus, hearing impairment, allergic reactions (angioedema, rhinitis, skin rashes, itching, urticaria), nose bleeding, genitourinary system, eosinophilia.
In patients with asthma increases the risk of bronchospasm. With long-term use - anemia. With a dose of ≥ 150 mg / kg of weight, signs of toxic poisoning appear: excessive sweating, tinnitus, vomiting, nausea, impaired consciousness, headaches.
With a dose of ≥ 300 mg / kg of body weight, acute poisoning occurs, which is accompanied by a deterioration of the general condition: rapid shallow breathing, an increase in body temperature, and a change in the acid-base balance in the body. Renal failure may occur. The deterioration in the absence of ambulance is accompanied by disturbances in the work of the central nervous system (central nervous system), coma, cessation of respiratory processes.
A dose of more than 500 mg / kg of weight leads to death. Be sure to consult a doctor if signs of overdose are detected.
In case of overdose, the stomach is cleaned by washing, prescribing is to receive activated carbon. It is important to observe changes in the water-salt balance in the patient and correct it in a timely manner to avoid acidosis, blood circulation in a reduced volume, and fever.
Drug interactions and special instructions
Cardiomagnyl has a potentiating effect on the following substances: anticoagulants, plasminogen activators, antiplatelet agents, methotrexate, chlorpropamid, insulin. Suppresses the effect of diuretics, drugs that lower blood pressure.
Simultaneous use with ibuprofen and other anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal drugs is not desirable. The use of blood-thinning drugs is allowed, but with the risk of hemorrhagic stroke and bleeding.
It is prescribed with caution: for people with stomach ulcers, gout, high uric acid in the blood, high blood pressure (due to the risk of 
hemorrhagic stroke). Be sure to inform the doctor about taking the medicine if surgery is prescribed.

Due to the content of aspirin tablets can not be used in children, as acetylsalicylic acid can contribute to the development of Reye's syndrome with a viral infection.
Simultaneous use with ethanol containing drinks can cause hemorrhages in the cavity of the gastrointestinal tract.
Use by women during pregnancy and nursing
Contraindicated in the first and third trimesters of pregnancy, as aspirin can cause congenital deformities in the fetus. In the first trimester, ASA can lead to the birth of a fetus with splitting of the upper palate.
In the third trimester, the use of the drug threatens to inhibit labor activity. Under strict medical supervision, it is possible to use the drug in the second trimester of pregnancy, but only under the condition that the benefits are more significant than the possible risks (the dose of aspirin is not more than 100 mg / day).
It is contraindicated when breastfeeding, since acetylsalicylic acid is then excreted in human milk. This may contribute to the development of Reye’s syndrome in a child with a probability of death.
Therefore, at the time of prevention of cardiomagnyl feeding should be stopped.
